Papago Vans

Marketing Director

Custom van builder

I joined Papago Vans at a pivotal moment. The systems were already in place; what they needed was optimization and fuel on the fire. In 14 months I took that foundation, added the hands-on expertise from running my own brands, and tripled revenue. That growth pulled in household-name celebrities, billion-dollar executives, and top-tier influencers, on content frameworks and paid media targeting I already knew worked. I was the only marketer.

I worked closely with Sales to keep a lean team efficient against that lead volume, and built an update system that pushes build progress from the builders straight to the customer, cutting the manual work in between.

I also secured our title sponsorship at Overland Expo West, the largest event presence we had ever had, and ran the whole thing: coordination, materials, booth design, van staging, down to the scents and sounds used inside the vans. I worked the booth alongside our sales manager and built the lead intake and nurture that converted it after the show.

SkaleBrands

Lead Creative Strategist, DTC creative agency

Agency-side while still running two of my own brands. Creative direction was mine end to end: the concepts, the scripts, and the UGC creators who shot them.

  • 10–20 briefs/wk

Each one scripted and directed down to frame-by-frame reference.

  • 10+ ROAS

On Meta, from a few of my creatives. Those became the templates for everything after.

  • 5–7 clients

Owned end to end, several of them eight-figure brands.

Ecommerce Founder

Bootstrapped DTC brands

Posting brand deals for ecommerce brands, and networking with their founders, opened my eyes to ecom. I already had distribution, so I used it, testing product ideas against an audience I had built myself.

Months of trial and error followed. The unlock was moving distribution off organic and onto Facebook ads: in late 2019 it clicked, and one store did $200K on media I bought myself, while I was still learning media buying, CRO, and how to read a P&L.

Then store after store for several years, each one bootstrapped by one or two people, every function in-house. Nothing was delegated and nothing was theoretical. Every decision had my own money behind it.

  • $1M+

Combined across every store, over several years.

  • $200K first store

Late 2019. The one that proved it worked, and the start of the number above.

  • $500K ad spend

Managed solo, averaging 2–4 ROAS at scale on high-velocity creative testing and strategic lookalikes and retargeting.

  • Solo

Branding, media buying, copywriting, CRO, email/SMS, inventory, R&D, finance. Every function of an ecom startup.

  • 6 ad platforms

Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat, Pinterest, Etsy, plus branded TikTok pages I scaled to 100K followers by hand.

Instagram

Page Growth & Content Curation

Everything Vine taught me about hooks, retention, and virality, pointed at a single account.

Due to the fast growth, I took a similar approach as I did with Vine and formed a group with 50 other major creators in the space. The group alone had over 20M cumulative followers and was a highly sought-after network. It unlocked major growth opportunities, insider connections and knowledge, brand deals, and eventually opened my eyes to ecommerce as a separate growth path.

  • 500K+ followers

    From zero, inside three years.

  • 10M–100M monthly

    Impressions, depending on the month.

Vine

Where it started

It all began at thirteen, in eighth grade, with a passion for sports and an entrepreneurial drive starting to rear its head. Posting six-second sports highlights taught me the foundations of short-form editing, hooks, and what gets people to share.

That steady community growth eventually put me onto two other fast-growing creators, and we formed a content group before they were cool. It became one of the most admired in the sports and video editing space. Our first recruiting contest drew thousands of highly competitive submissions, with thousands more auditioning in later rounds.

  • 10K+ followers

Built with no idea what I was doing yet.

13 years of doing the thing

Diving in head first and actually “doing the thing” over the past 13 years has taught me more than I could’ve ever paid for.
